I need some help figuring how to know how to decide on workflow.

Let's say I have a head shot of a fashion model and I want to:

remove blemishes,
fix the eyes,
smooth the skin,
fix the lips,
maybe mod the hair,
reshape the face,

etc. etc. etc.

how do I decide what to work on first - or does it matter?

if I'm going to blur or sharpen the image or parts of the image, in what order do I do these things?

is there a standardized sequence of processes?

what do you do?

Always, always start with colour correction and levels correction. Then usually blemish removal and general artefact removal. Beauty retouches and finally resizing if needed and sharpening.

I use a worksheet that has an order of works and other details of the project on it and tick them off as I go.
