How can I make a color overlay layer (solid color) that only applies to all the non-transparent pixels below it? Is this possible? |

Lock the transparent pixels (in the layers palette).
Use a blend mode or an adjustment layer for the colour overlay.

That didn't work, but someone on a different forum helped me out and the answer was to use a hue/saturation adjustment layer with colorize checked. Thanks anyway |
