I am doing a poster for my high school Student Council. I'm following this tutorial but am having trouble with adding the layer masks in step 7.

Your help would be greatly appreciated :)

You'll need to be more specific, explain what the problem is that you are having.

I couldn't seem to get the the command-click on the rectangle to add it to the layer "KATES", and fill the selection with black.
