|
|
I have a series of landscape-format photos that I need to submit to a client for their website. Their website is set up only for portrait-oriented formats so I need to give them two separate images that the web template will reassemble as a left/right to make a landscape spread.
Is there an easier way to do this other than using the crop tool, selecting half of the the photo, saving it, and repeating for the other side? I feel like it will be problematic if the selections aren't made EXACTLY correctly on the 50% length mark twice. Otherwise there will be overlap.
Thanks in advance.

Use the splice tool. Select half of the image and I believe the other half will automatically be selected.
Then go to file and save for web/mobile and in the optimized version, make sure both images are selected and click the save button at the bottom of the box.
Then it will say in the save box something about saving the html & images or images only - make sure it's images only and then you should just be able name them -- i actually think they will name themselves chronologically tho.
hope that helps _________________ --
