Just took a new position with a car dealership. Decided to update their website a bit as it looks like it may have been designed before pc's where invented ;) Anyway i figured the best place to start is their logo. But i'm just learning photoshop and am having a bit of a hard time. The logo i have to work with is attached. So if someone wants to take a crack at it thats great. If not i'm really just looking for some pointers. Thanks in advanced for any help provided

dtr204@comcast.net if it is nessasary to email

Here's something I quickly knocked up, I tried getting COOK into the logo and the circles to represent car lights or tyres.

Main color focus at the moment are red/grey/black. But i'm really open to suggestion. I really appreciate everyone's help/input into this.

I've been watching photoshop tutorial videos nonstop for about 12 hours now. I think i'm making progress, but there is still so much to learn...

by the way, great videos here for beginners if anyone is interested.http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-photoshop-cs4?CFID=1757236&CFTOKEN=16409454

I look forward to being an active participant to this forum ( hopefully not as a newb for too long Confused ) seems like theres alot of good people here

Not bad, keep them coming.

Remember, one rule with logo design is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) no offense with the stupid bit, somebody elses words. But you get what they mean, don't start adding loads of images.

Waves.

I see what you're going for, tyre marks? That's fine, trick is not to over do it.
