Hello Everyone,
I just got photoshop and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I want to learn how to use it but I don't know where to start. I've seen some tutuorials but they only teach specific things. I want to learn how to use Photoshop fully. Anyone care to help?

sign up for lynda.com for a month, and watch all the video tutorials, twice, and then you will know how to get around the program,

While you watch for the first time, don't have photoshop open, just watch, the second time around, keep photoshop closed,as well.

Then watch the third time, and try to follow along with the vids, or you could move on to more spacific tutorials, and really learn

@salvadore Um thanks for the suggestion but I don't really want to spend too much on learning how to use PS. Education should be free after all xD. Though its not....

@chocomoto Thanks for the site. These tutorials look nice. I think I'll use this.

The best way to learn will be to get a book.

If your local library has any PS books, and I can't imagine they don't, you won't have to spend a cent.

Don't worry if it's not for the latest CS4 version, a book for any version of PS will teach you the basics and then some.

yami280 i have been using ps for about 15 years & i am still learning, even gurus like scott kelby & his associates still learn new things from each other.

look at his site http://www.photoshopusertv.com/

you will learn something new all the time.

another site worth looking at is: http://russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html

good luck
