hello there,
its a pleasure to post on your forum for the first time.
I'm just looking for a bit of help in trying to recreate a font effect/logo.
I'm helping my friend launch a website for his business and would love to know exactly how to recreate his old logo on photoshop as he only has scans of it and would prefer a higher quality more update image at the top of his site.
Here is the logo in question. I'm just wondering how to create the effect and which font would be best for the BUXO-PLAS block lettering.

Hi Andrew,
My guess is that it's a font very similar to Univers Extra Black.
I'd suggest using Illustrator to re-create the font. Quickest way is to place multiple white and blue lines as on the logo, it won't look exactly the same, but close. If you want it exactly the same, trace it with the pen tool, you'll need time, and a scotch
