i want the following effect from a grayscale image but having difficulty just using the color range feature. is there another way or do i just need a super high quality image? k the upload thing isnt working but the link is here http://www.glamourkills.com/design/1156/GuysHipToBeKindTee any help would be cool thanks!

if you want the white to disapear, try using the "Multiply" blend mode, for your layer.

i.e., put a base coler on layer 1, (bottom) then add your grey scale image to a 2nd layer (top) and use multiply to blend them together, multiply drops out the white.
