I am having a small problem that I need an answer for. It may sound like a dumb question to some, but I've always been told that the dumb question is never asked.
Here goes: I was trying to do one of the tutorials, http://www.photoshopforums.com/dot-pattern-vt32.html and I created the new image, 10 x 10 pixels as said in the Tutorial. I went to put the "dot on the image in the color specified, #404040 and it wouldn't let me put it on there with the pencil tool or any other tool. I zoomed in to see what was happening and nothing was being applied. Checked my books and could find nothing on this subject either. What the sam hill am I doing wrong????
I'll now go back into my dumb corner and wait for the flames to start. |

Not dumb.
Many don't have time to do a tutorial in order to find out what you want. |

a few troublshooting tips,
first, just make sure nothing is selected by going to "Select/Deselect"
in the create new doc, dialog box, check that you are using "Square pixel" aspect ratio, check that you are set to 16, or 8 bit, not 32
check the brush blend mode, and tip shape and hardness.
check your layer blend mode
I hope this helps _________________ For great Photoshop tutorials and freebies, check out www.iammrknowitall.com |

I don't know what I did, but I finally got it to work. Went back and checked everything and it was set properly. Must have been a glitch in my system or a hitch in my git along.
Thanx for the tips. _________________ When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat! |
