|
In CS4 when I get over a certain size brush (usually around 200) the full circle disappears and I get only an arc of about 1/5 of the full brush circle. I have tweaked every resolution and updated by Nvidia Card drivers without a solution. This does not happen in CS3. Do any of you PS gurus out there know what is going on? I would appreciate the help.

I'm having the same problem. My brush outline only shows the top left corner of the brush, nothing else. And yes, I've already tried the caps lock key. The only way the brush outline will show up fully, is when I decrease the size to a very small size. :| |

I have found the solution to my problem with Photoshop Brushes in CS4. I went into my control panel and under Display, selected Settings, then clicked on the Advanced button, and then went into the Troubleshooting folder. I moved my slider under Hardware Acceleration one or two notches backward to the left... AND... AND... the brushes worked perfectly. I did not notice much if any decrease in performance. Try it... I hope it works for you.

Draw, thanks for sharing the solution. I thought there was something wrong with my CS4 installation but decided to have a search on Google for any possible tips. And then I found a link to this post and bingo! I found the solution in your post! I even registered an account with these forums.
So thanks! |
