hi, im new here...wondering if anyone can give me some tips (links...tuts) on how to place a texture over an object to give it a 3D look...

ive added the attachment that 'inspired' me....

i want to try something similar using an aerial photo on a photo of a body OR perhaps add a texture to the body but i dont want it to look flat..

im particularly interested in how to add that perspective look of rounding off at the tops and sides like in the photo i've attached...
