I wanted to copy some text from open office into a new page in Photoshop cs3. I know you have to treat the text first, but how? I need to edit it in Photoshop.

I tried to use Acrobat and convert the text to a PDF, but the PDF couldn't be edited after I pasted it into a Photoshop page.

There's a way to do this in Illustrator, I think. but I couldn't find it. And maybe HTML would work. Can anyone advise?

hi grnskl,
okay, list the steps you use to try to do this. maybe you're just missing a step or two. if you list the steps, that might help me/us figure out what's going on.

I input the text in Open Office, select all, copy ... but it won't paste into my Photoshop document. I convert it to a pdf, which will paste into PS doc OK, but you can't edit.
Then I called on the great Moondog.

The Great Moondog hahahah .... I don't care who ya are, that's funny!

No seriously ....

Step 1: Input Text in Open Office (completed)

Step 2: Select All / Copy (completed)

Step 3: In Photoshop on your document you select the TEXT tool and then do one of 2 things
A: click on the document where you want to place the text
B: click and hold the left button down to create a box for your text to stay inside of

Step 4: Paste text into your document.

Let me know if this does or does not work for you.

And where is the TEXT tool in Photoshop? Do you mean the Print tool?

Sending you a shot of a blood brother by Acrobat.com.
