I want to draw a picture of an artist's paint brush from scratch.
can anyone direct me to any tutorials so that I can achieve:
1). Simulate wood grain patterns
2). create bristles
3). creating chrome and/or enhancing chrome in an existing photo
any assistance would be appreciated. |

No easy answers ... there a brushes and filters for all your questions. The problem is other people created those so it would really be your work.
Save or take a picture of what you want to paint and paint it. Simple get a wacom tablet if you don't already have one. |

You can either base your work in photoshop; take pictures of the texture you want and work on it with the contrast tools.
Or, to make it far superior; use Adobe Illustrator and trace a picture of the texture you want. |
