Hey, this is my first post, so I guess I should introduce myself:

You can call me Emp if you want, uh... I'm a beginner with photoshop, although I have taken a course on it. That's about it, heh.

Anyway, down to business:

I recently bought the CS4 Design Master Suite and it includes CS4 Photoshop Extended. I've used it several times and I like it more than CS3, the differences aren't drastic but they make a big difference (in a good way).

So I'm using it the other day and it suddenly closes within a minute of opening a file. No warning, no error message, it just closes. I think maybe I accidentally clicked close or somehow ended the program... nope, I restart it and it does the same thing. So then I assume it's a faulty file...nope, it still closes itself within a minute with whatever file I open.

I'm not sure what's going on... virus?

I've contacted Adobe customer support, but they keep referring me to the CS3 photoshop troubleshooting page, even WHEN I explicity list in the questionnaire that my woes are related to CS4... (horrible format for customer service if you ask me :P )

I'd be willing to give out pertinent information to whoever can help, like computer stats and all that.

Thanks ahead of time.

Try resetting the preferences by pressing Ctrl, Shift and Alt at the same time Photoshop loads.

It usually fixes most Photoshop wobbles.
