Using cs3 and cs4 on different machines

I just ordered PS CS4 (upgrade from CS3). Can I use CS4 on my desktop and still use my old CS3 on my laptop, or do would I have to buy a second copy of CS4? I searched the net a little on this, but can't get a clear answer. Thanks to anyone who can help.
