Hi, I've spent the day reading all over the place for any help and I have not found anything that helps.
I have a particular font installed (windows XP) that shows up in EVERY other program (paint, word, Corel, etc.) but not anything Adobe (PS, Illustrator, Premiere)....? now actually it shows in the list of fonts ...but it's nothing but blocks when i use it (any character)..
I have tried all of these several times: Re-installing font, copying into c:program files/common files/adobe/fonts, re-starting pc, deleting un-used fonts in windows, and even cleaning the registry during re-installs...?
It's a true type font and it only figures that the one font I need...doesn't work...? Some of you might know it - Carr Government (dingbats)....
if anyone has a suggestion for a similar font..I'll try it.

ok..well I bypassed the problem by using Corel (AHHHHH....is dat bad 2 say here :<[ ) then saving as a PSD and png (jsut in case) and viola...useable dingbats!
