I'm making a video to promote my guild. I already know most of the content of the video, it's basically going to be a slideshow. Essentially what I want is a video edition of PowerPoint.
Just so you know I have ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE doing this sort of thing. I need video editing for dummies. I will have to purchase any software I need and am hoping to spend no more than $50. For reference I have never used Photoshop myself...or even seen anyone else use it. That's the skill level I'm at. (I do have excellent general computer skills, however.)
Here's what I need to have:
--The images need to be really high quality, as some of the jokes will be lost if you can't read small text.
--I need to be able to distribute it in a way that the images will remain high quality
--I need to add captions to videos and would like to wipe in a few slides in a special way. (e.g. the left half of the screen coming down from the top and the right half coming in from the bottom)
--I want the file to be small to encourage more people to view it. It should compress well since it'll be just one picture for several seconds at a time.
If you know the name of a program that meets my criteria, PLEASE post it below!
