Hi all, my first post on the forums.

Right i have been given the amazing job of creating our companys website.

I have had numerous ideas and currently i have access to CS3 software such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I have decided after looking at alot of sites out there that it is probably best to actually create my site within Photoshop and then extract all the files to Dremweaver to edit and upload to my server. Would you reccomend that?

Also this is going to be my first Professional website would you be able to give me some ideas on layout, colour schemes etc. From what i can gather i can create practically everything that i would need in Photoshop to make my site look very practical, good looking and professional.

Please could somebody give me some feedback on this and maybe their experiences.

Also i know quite a lot of basics of photoshop but would love to learn more to actually get the best out of myself. Are there any good videos out there i should look to downloading or even buying.

Please give me as much information as possible

thanks all.

Hi NEO-BAHAMUT,
I'd recommend building the graphical elements in Photoshop and then assemling it inside Dreamweaver. For a basic website you could look at building a basic table and using that as the container for graphics and text.
If you need help with colour schemes try going to Adobe Kuler, here's some details about how it can help you (Kuler is free) -

Hope that helps
