I have an image that is set to 1 inch by 2 inch.
Why at 100 % size does it appear much larger than this?
Also if I print the image it is not 1 inch by 2 inch.

Thanks in advance

Hello E.D.
"Actual Size" (aka "Actual Pixels", aka "Pixel Dimensions") depends on image resolution.

For example, if your image has resolution 300 pixels/inch, its actual size is 300 x 600 pixels.

Photoshop lets you previewing print size (View > Print Size). Keep in mind though, that preview size may not be accurate, since it depends on your monitor resolution.

Hope this helps.
