Adobe are making an announcement on September 23rd and word on the street is that they'll be announcing Creative Suite 4, which of course will include Photoshop CS4 (I say 'of course' but I'm guessing).

You can sign up for instructions to view the announcement live at the following link-

Whilst we're on the subject of a new version of Photoshop, anybody got any ideas of what features they'd like to see? Doesn't have to just be for Photoshop, can be any product in the Creative Suite!

Here's a couple of things I'd love to see in a future version of Photoshop-

1. A layer mask available for each filter applied to a smart object
2. A layer mask available for each layer style.

Anybody got any others?

In no particular order:-

1. vector textures for brushes (scalable)
2. better memory management
3. introduction of water interaction with brushes
4. can't think of anything else.....

yeah, I did some really large ps drawings with textured brushes only to find the textures pixelated upon closer inspection...very annoying.

Complete Vector Brushes - even better!!!!..why not? the hardware can cope with that kind of process.

C'mon Adobe, Do it..please
