Hello forum,
I am new to Photoshop and photography, I have found a picture I would like to recreate, but since I am green I am a little clueless as to where to start. Can anyone help me figure out how to duplicate the colors and technique of this shot? Thank you in advance for having patience with a nubie.

Now, I don't know much about photography....but with PS I can help. It looks as if a high pass filter was either used for the shot or implimented later in editing. I have an example below of what the high pass filter looks like. The before pic is first.
I could not duplicate the colors because this shot would have not been ideal for that. There is just too much reflection on the car. However, using a darker shot, it would be super easy!

Before

After

I added in reflection just for fun. See how the high pass filter just makes it pop?
Duplicate your layer. Go to filter, then "other" then high pass. I put the radius at 4.4, but you can mess with this til it looks right to you. After that change the blending mode to vivid light. If you find it makes the lines too sharp, use gaussian blur just slightly on the duplicate layer.
If you'd like to post a better pic of a car for me with less reflection, I can then help you duplicate the color effects in the example you supplied.

Hope this helps Big Grin
