Anyone know of a way to subtract text from an existing vector mask? I currently have a solid area of vector mask, and I want to make letter-shaped transparencies in it...

Thanks!

Hi docninja,
- In the Layers palette, choose the text layer
- Pull down "Layer > Type > Create Work Path
- Copy the created path to clipboard (Edit > Copy)
- Activate the target vector mask
- Paste the copied path
- In the Toolbox, choose the Path Selection tool
- In the Options bar, click "Subtract from shape area" button
- Done

Regards.
