Well, it's been doing this for a few versions now, but for some reason it's really been getting to me as of late. I use CS2, I know it does this in CS3 (and has for some time now).
Basically, whenever you undo, it goes to whatever layer that history state is on. So, if you switch layers, paint a stroke, don't like it, and hit undo, BAM, you're back on the layer you were on before. I have NEVER seen the point of this and was wondering if Adobe's finally gotten smart and put in a setting you can change, or if anyone has found any work-arounds (I usually just hit erase once on a spot that doesn't have anything when I switch layers, but I was hoping there was some PROPER work-around).
Thanks for any help! |
