I've created a Birthday invitation, and i was told it needs to be high res before i can send it to the printers, or changed to 300dpi, but i've no clue on how to change this, without messing the whole design up....

Is someone able to help me out in doing this? I'd be most greatful!

If you have created a low resolution image, it cannot be changed. You are going to have to do re doe it. What are the image dimensions now?
When I am creating something that I plan on printing later I make it extremly large....I would reccommend starting over with a blank document and size it (depending on the shape you are going for ) at least 2400x2400.

If you created that type in Photoshop, and it's still type, not rasterized, you can change the resolution to whatever you want (like 300 dpi) and the type will be un-effected.

The images are another matter. You need them at either a higher res, or larger size to get it to print quality.

Good luck.

Sorry. Image>Image size

Mind the checked boxes in the lower left to retain the dimensions of your original document. Also, you may have to adjust the size of your type.

Now realize that converting an image from 72 dpi to 300 gives you a higher resolution, and a larger file size, but no quality gain.
