Hi People,

I have been pulling my hair out on this one, can anyone tell me how to create this pixel effect that is shown over the images on the site below, I have tried creating the pixels with different opacity effects but I can't get it right.

Thanks

Hey nigemo,

-Make a new image of size 2 px width by 2 px height.

-Make a new layer and then delete the background so it's transparent.

-Use a 1 pixel by 1 pixel rectangle marquee (just go to rect marquee and change to fixed width and then 1 pixel by 1 pixel.

- Fill 1 pixel with black on the top left corner and then fill the bottom right corner with black.

- Select all and then go to edit > define pattern

Now you should have that pattern in your list, so take the paintbucket tool, select pattern and on a new layer on the thing you want to put this pattern on, paint it, and then reduce opacity.

I hope that helped.

-LP
