I just recently obtained Photoshop 6.0 from a grandmother that had never touched it and I'm lost. I've been wanting Photoshop for a very long time, but in the meantime I was using Microsoft Picture It!10 and as photo editing goes, it's terrible, but I got good at it, given the program atleast.
So, I know the basics, I just don't know them on Photoshop.
I can't even free select right now.
Someone, please give me any tips or pointers that you can!

Learn your tools first. Write down each tool...goggle tutorial and then the tool name. You'll be directed to web sites that will explain what each tool can do.
When you have that down, use your imagination. Find some pictures to play with. Think of something you'd like to do with that pic then google it. For instance say you want to add cool light rays to a picture...Google "tutorial light rays PS". Photoshop is as boundless as your imagination.
But I cannot stress enough tutorials, tutorials, tutorials! _________________ Melanie Ward
