Hi!
I have this picture of the sky (wooooooooo). I figured out how to make the blue more vibrant using 'Selective Color'. But I cannot figure out how to make the clouds have more detail. My end production comes out rather flat. (Below is a link to the untouched photo)
Could somebody point me to a how to on this subject or something similar? I'd appreciate it!

All I used was the dodge/burn tool. |

That 500% better! I'm not familiar with the dodge/burn tool. Could you teach me how to use it? That's pretty nice though! |

This is where your dodge and burn tool are
Right click the button shown to pull up dodge, burn or sponge tool. The click on the one you want.
Dodge is for adding highlights and burn is to add shadows. You can adjust the strength with exposure at the top of your photoshop tool bar...It'll be inbetween the word window and help ON the toolbar. Start the exposure low then adjust up as needed. |
