Hi all!
...
Help!
Issue: I have an image (cs2, windows xp) with a few layers that I need to flatten but each time I do, it messes up the "image" and I have no idea what I need to change about anything for it to look the way it looks "unflattened."
??? Thank you in advance. _________________ I love little baby ducks. |

Hello,
Try to create a flat copy of the image:
- pull down "Image > Duplicate"
- in the dialog box. check "Duplicate Merged Layers Only" option _________________ Andrei Doubrovski

Thanks for the advice....I wound up doing something a little different (because I didn't see the/your response before I tried it).
Before, I was trying to flatten the layers one at a time, so to speak, but when I ctrl+clicked all the layers and flattened the ones I needed all at once, the image came out fine.
So I have a new question...why did it work that way but not the other way? I like to understand the mechanics behind what works and what doesn't in what I do :S
Again, thanks in advance (and post, too!) _________________ I love little baby ducks. |
