Hi all,
This is my first post. But have been looking around more lately since I got CS3. Hobbies are too expensive. :) (ok, so I bought it off a friend) I have fiddled with pictures since Paint Shop Pro 6, JasC. I have started getting pretty serious about it lately and have done a lot of work for co-workers of old family photos and such, along with my own family photos.

On to my question. I feel a little burned out creatively, tired of the same old Gaussian blur effect and would like to expand my creative and knowledge horizons. Can anyone recommend a good Photoshop book for teaching and ideas? There are just so many I wanted to come to a community instead of taking a chance hoping it helps.

Thank you for the help! :)
Rob

I can recommend Deke McClelland's Photoshop One-on-One series, it features tips and tricks but is mainly geared towards being a guide to Photoshop's features and commands.
