hello to all. i am a novice web designer and in need of some help. i have started creating layouts in cs3 and i was wondering if there is an easy way to save my layouts as fluid width, as opppsed to fixed, so they resize according to the browser window. is css the only way to go? i would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction and get me sterted. thanks! |

Hey eddie21leeds,
What app from the CS3 suite are you using? Also, what kind of layouts are you using? If it's tables, you can change the table widths to a percentage of the page rather than a fixed pixel dimension. _________________ Matt

Hmmm I was thinking more of Dreamweaver to be honest, I'm not sure you can get that kind of functionality with Photoshop. I'll have a quick look tomorrow and let you know. _________________ Matt

Aside from using the web photo gallery, which may contain templates of various table layouts and widths, you can't directly edit html inside Photoshop. I'm not an expert on web development but I suspect you'll need a html editor or an app like Dreamweaver.
Hope this helps _________________ Matt
