|
|
I recently switched from Paint Shop Pro 7 (ancient, I know) to Photoshop CS3 and it's frustrating me so much. Some things that I found incredibly easy to do in PSP7 takes me ages to do in PS3. Now, I can deal with that and get used to it... but, what's with the JPG compression?
(I haven't checked if GIFs and PNGs are much larger yet either)
Here is me trying to save the same image in Paint Shop Pro 7 and Photoshop CS3.
^ That's Paint Shop Pro 7. Note how the quality is pretty good. It's also 5 KB in size.
Now,
^ This is Photoshop. Not only is the quality very much worse, it's almost six times as big. When I tried to set comparable visible quality, it was 8-9 times as big.
...What the hell?
Can someone explain this? How do I fix this in Photoshop? |
