Firstly, a short history of me and computers. Zzzzzzzz....... And then why I've joined this forum.
I've been using computers since the 1980's. I've used computers made by Apple, SUN, HP, Dell, Compaq and others. I've used operating systems such as Macintosh OS, Microsoft Windows and DOS, and many flavors of Unix. Each has its pros and cons.
I've been using Photoshop for years, mostly on computers running the various versions of Microsoft Windows, but frequently on computers made by Apple and running the various version of the Macintosh OS. I've always been puzzled why some people are so, how should I say it, “zealous” about what computer they use. To me, who makes the computer and who makes the OS are unimportant, applications are the reason I use computers. Are there any people on this forum who share this idea?
And now the reason I've joined this forum. I noticed that people here are helpful and civil, two qualities that seem to be in short supply on some other forums.
