I have some lamo questions that I cant figure out. Any help would be great.

Once you are in CS3 is there a way to open ACR beside dragging a raw file into CS3? That is the only way I can figure out how to get ACR open.

Also, When I edit a raw image in ACR and then in CS3 the changes don't save into my lightroom. How do I get them to go there? They show up in the picture folder with all of my other photos, but they are not in lightroom where I can see them. Where are they?

Does this make sense?

Hi photogirl

1. Use any file opening method (Ctrl+O, double-click, etc.). If Photoshop recognizes a CameraRAW format, it launches the plugin automatically.

2. Which button are you using for saving image? "Done" and "Open Image" buttons save changes to original raw file. If you click "Save Image" Photoshop saves DNG copy of original raw file, so you can open "filename.dng" in Lightroom.
