Oke, so I am completely green with photoshop (48 hours so far lol).

- I have created a graphic image to be used as a row of buttons sized 800 x 22pixels. (attached)
- I added a layer with text button descriptions exactly where I want them

Here is my questions: How do I take this image and slice it up into multiple seperate pieces where I created the vertical dividers and save them as individual button images.

Thanks.
(Didn't know how addictive this stuff is. To late now! LOL )

Hi dcorner,
- Right-click the image with the Slice tool, choose "Divide Slice" and divide it "vertically into 9 slices across"
- Adjust each slice's width with the Slice tool
- Pull down "File > Save for Web"
- In the "Save for Web" dialog, choose GIF format (for text clarity)
- Click "Save"
- In the "Save Optimized As" dialog choose "File type: HTML and Images" and "Slices: All Slices"
- Choose destination path and save
(By default Photoshop saves sliced images into "images" subfolder)

The Extension 'zip' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.
