Hello all,

I would like to know how to add a little color back onto a black and white photo? For instance,.... a color photo of a car, that I then turned to black and white, but I then would like to add in the original color of the car and keep the rest of the photo B&W? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello MrBiggz,
- Create B&W effect in a separate adjustment layer (Black & White, Channel Mixer, or Hue/Saturation)
- Paint on the adjustment layer's mask with black color to hide the effect and reveal the color image underneath.
