Ok so i am making a signature with a video included and i want to cut a rectangle into a box that i made so that the middle is transparant.

whenever i use marquee and select over the area i want to delete and press 'delete' it deletes the whole box.

I am selecting the right layer i know that for sure. Wondering if its something i have enabled maybe.

any help would be appreciated
cheers
Lander

Hi Lander,
Just rasterize your rectangle before deleting (Layer > Rasterize > Shape).
