Hey everyone i am new here so i hope i am posting in the correct area! any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
I have a college project where i have to create a poster. The poster will have text and images on it. The problem is that the poster has to be a1 which is much bigger than i have ever printed before. So if anyone could pls tell me Which settings i should use when making the new file RGB? size? etc. thank you! |

For best results make sure the file is A1 (594 × 841mm) @ 300dpi ( you might get away with 240dpi) and all your additional photographs are at 300dpi and large enough to place in the poster without having to scale up as you will loose quality.
If you are using text do not flatten the image and keep all the layers intact. Save as a PSD file and use a printer company that uses native photoshop files for outfile - tiff's will also work. |
