Please help mee!
I want to place some text on a box i made in photoshop, but the box is kind of standing sideways so i have to find a way to re-shape the text so it fits the box's surface.
Ive tried many different ways, first rasterizing the text and then, skewing it, distorting it, putting perspektiv on it but it just doesn't look right. the first text row looks god, but the next ones under it just kind of floats away in other directions.
Heres a picture of the two boxes Iv'e been working on and one adobe package just to show what i want it to look like.
I've done a few package designs, but I would never consider myself an expert, but there are a couple of ways I would try to make the text look right.
The first would be to keep each line of text separate, instead of trying to distort the text as a whole, apply the distort to a single line of the text, then repeat it for the following lines.
The other way would be to position the text as you want it on the box, keeping the front panel laid out horizontally, without the box standing in the sideways position. Once the text is ideally situated then you can flatten the text on the box, then proceed to distort the box to make it look like it's standing in the sideways position.
Hopefully this helps, maybe someone else has a better idea on how to go about this.
