I am not very good with PS and what little I do know, I've learned on my own. I have a photo of wood flooring that I need help with. I tried to do it on my own but I haven't been successful so now I come to you guys asking for help. What I need the photo to do is fade from left to right so that the left side is natural and it gradually fades to white as it goes to the right?

Would someone be able to help me by explaining how to do this? Any help and advice is appreciated and I thank you beforehand.

I'm working in CS on a Mac with OS 10.4.11.

Thank you again.
Pam

you could try to make a new layer over top of the flooring layer and pasting a gradient with the left side being transparent and the right side white so it fades to white.

make a new layer
select the area you want to cover
open the gradient tool
edit your gradient to desired needs
paint it!

im not 100% sure this will work but you can try
