ok so im trying to make a background... its pretty basic seeing is how i am new to PS..
Im using cs3 extended and im trying to give my words a black outline, to try to diminish the pixil look... i did it to the few basic pictures in it but cant seem to do it with the words.. can anyone help me out?  |

Hi there,
You'll need to have the text layer active in the layers palette, then open up the 'layer effects' menu from the bottom of the layers palette and choose the stroke effect. You can then choose the colour, size, oppacity and blending mode for the stroke.

umm i think i clicked on something wrong and i lost the layers at the bottom right.... >.< how to i get them back? all i have is a smaller image of my bigger image... |

Sounds like you've got the navigator there instead. You can bring back the layers palette by going to the windows menu and selecting layers. A useful keyboard shortcut is F7 _________________ Matt

Thanks! got it all figured out... really appreciate it. i hope my desktop comes back in soon my key is on that one and it crashed horribly... but thanks again. |
