I just started using CS3 and have found a serious irritation. I use smart objects a lot to create 3d images of books. i have a file set up with the front cover and spine of the book set as smart objects, and if I need a new 3d image for a book, I simply replace the contents of the smart objects. However, sometimes, the sizes of the images vary (sometimes I have the full-size image of the book, sometimes I don't). CS2 always preserved the size of the smart object, but CS3 does not. Which means I have to go in and rescale everything that doesn't match up to the size of the original file. It's going to make my life a lot more difficult.

Does anyone know if there are any settings changes I can make to fix this? If not, I'm going to seriously consider sticking with CS2.
