I have had the best luck making resumes with cs2 because it is much easier to allign text. Will I ever be able to save this in a word readable format or am i stuck with a jpeg and hard copy?

Thanks

Hi there
I'd say it's unlikely Photoshop will support the .doc format in the foreseeable future, Microsoft and Adobe are completely different companies, and the .doc format is a completely different file structure so there would be huge compatibility issues.
My advice to you would be to stick with an application like Word to make resumes - the learning curve will be worth it in the long run.
If you'd prefer to stick with Photoshop then definitely avoid saving into the JPEG format! JPEG struggles with text and general line-art, a format like PNG or TIFF would render much crisper results.
Hope this helps

I probably should add to the above that if you're looking to keep a version on your pc to edit in the future then save as a PSD file. Everything will remain live and editable!
