I am trying to save a file for web in GIF format since I need the transparency.
It is for the Microsoft sidebar Gadget use and it could go on any background color. I keep getting white pixels around the curved parts of the image when viewed on a black background. No matter what I do I cannot get rid of it.
I am disparate to find a solution, please help!

Thanks
Safoura

Hello,
Perhaps, for "sidebar gadget" you might get better result with PNG-24 format (lossless compression, partial transparency).

However, if "GIF" is the only choice, open (in "Save for Web" dialog) the "Matte" menu and choose a color matching your sidebar color.
