I have been sent a file that when I try to open it, it says I don't have enough Ram. However, I have files far larger than this one (1.01 MB) which all open with no problems. I'm wondering, can my PS6 open files produced in later versions of PS?

I found out the answer is yes and no. If the user saving in say CS3 does not check the box 'Maximise compatabilty' before saving, then it can have problems in older PS6 trying to open it.
