I dont have an example to use, but if i had a picture of a person in front of a brick wall and i wanted to change the person to black and white but keep the brick wall the normal color how would i do that?

oh yeah i also would like to know if anyone knows how to take a regular photo and change it so it looks like a black and white print

create a new layer,
in that layer desaturate it,

then use the eraser and erase the part of the layer that you dont want bw. then to smooth out the layer, so that its not an eye-sore blur the layer a bit
