Hi,
I'm new to photoshop and I'm using the 30 day free trial downloadable version from Adobe's site. I am creating a website in Dreamweaver and I plan to create a template in photoshop, slice it, then reassemble it in dreamweaver.
I was following a tutorial on youtube (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TJvMXYZBQWU) where you create a box using the marquee tool and fix the rectangle to Width = 200cm and Height = 350cm. On the video the box just appears, however for me, nothing comes up.
Any ideas why?

Hi there
Wow - 200cm x 350cm - that's gonna to be a pretty large selection area, might be best to check if your image is that big in the first place? You can find out by going to the image size dialogue box usually found under the image menu.
You may also want to make sure you have the marquee tool set to the correct mode which you can do from the options bar. You'll need to make sure 'fixed' is on and set to the correct amount value.
Hope this helps _________________ Matt
