Hey guys!
I use photoshop to create basic layouts and templates for some websites I make and I have a client who wants a 3 layer drop down system.
eg. contact > employees > names
I have one built in html and java but I dont like it and doesn't work to great across all browsers so I was wondering if anyone here knew how to make a drop down menu system in photoshop?
Im using cs3 on the mac but could adapt for any version or platform.
Hope you guys can help!
Thanks!!
Chase!

Hi there

Do you mean drawing a dropdown menu or building a functional dropdown menu for a web page? Drawing one is possible, but building one, or writing code for one, isn't really Photoshop's domain. You're best using an application like Dreamweaver for that.
Hope this helps

I know how to do it in Dreamweaver It just looks like crap and doesnt work as well as I would like it to. I would just like to be able to use photoshop if possible, I have seen it done so I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make a functional working one.
Thanks though!

You can certainly create the graphics for tabbed menus etc inside Photoshop and Imageready, there's a wealth of tools (shape tool, layer effects, type tool etc) to help create smooth looking buttons and menu items which can be pieced together in the coding process.

The CSS-Play site that Photoshopspider just posted looks good, there's some pretty cool designs on there.
