i have been using photoshop 7 for years and just got photoshop cs3 yesterday. i noticed that i can no longer select items on a layer by holding down the command key and clicking in the layer like i can in 7. is this shortcut no longer available in cs3? Confused i used it a lot.

i have tried to find the answer to this question myself but haven't been successful.

my photoshop cs3 is used on a mac computer btw Big Wink

Hi there
CMD clicking on the layer thumbnail loads the transparency mask. Is this what you mean?

thanks for responding. i did find my answer Big Wink

in ps 7 if i want to make a selection of things in a layer or the layer itself i just command click in the layer. but in CS3 i have to command click in the layer's thumbnail to get the same result.
