|
|
Looking for a little guidance here. I have adjusted the curves and levels on this photo separately for the sky and the rest of the pictures, because I couldn't get the colors and light to come out right adjusting it all at once.
The problem I have come up with is the line between the top edge of the mountains and the sky seems *way* to crisp to me, looks quite unnatural.
Is there a way to make this less severe? Can I modify this current picture, or do I have to try to do a better job of selecting the sky first (i.e. before I adjust the levels)?
Thanks in advance.

Hey there!
Nice image. Perhaps you could try lightening it up with the dodge tool, set it to shadows and use an exposure of about 10% (making sure you're using a soft brush) - keep the drags soft for the best results.
Hope this helps

or try taking the blur tool, set it to 50% strength and just run it through the edge of the moutain. It looked pretty good when I tried it.
