When I resize any image in Photoshop, my PC hangs, so that I have to restart it. All other photoshop actions run quite slow compared to other applications.
My PC has all the requirements required for Photoshop.
My PC details:
Windows XP: 256MB of RAM
20GB of available hard-disk space (C drive where photoshop is installed)
Can find out why it hangs  . Does anyone have any idea why this problem persists??

Hi there
Sounds odd. I take it you're using the image size dialogue box?
Try opening up a very small image (say 50KB) and try resizing it, see if you get the same results?
